Default Timeshare

We are starting to plan a trip to Aruba next winter (2014). Last time we were in Aruba we stayed at the Marriott and loved it. We would love to stay there again but were thinking of getting something a little less expensive so we can take our son and also stay for 2 weeks. We are looking at these. Any comments/suggestions? Beach Villas at Divi Phoenix, Bluegreen at LaCabana Beach & Racquet Club, Divi Aruba Phoenix Beach Resort.

Divi Phoenix is on the beach and a really nice resort. At La Cabana you will have to cross the street to get to the beach. La Cabana is nice also and caters more to families. So if you don't mind crossing the street to get to the beach, it to would be a good choice. JMHO

We love and own at the Renaissance Aruba. The private island might be nice for your son. There are iguanas running around and you get to feed them. The resort is just across the street from the downtown shopping area. All 1 BR units (with a pullout). The first time we went, we took both our boys when they were 15 1/2 and 17 and the room was big enough. Check out the resort; you might like it.

I agree, the Renaissance is lovely and fun.
La Cabana is also nice and has 2 bedrooms.
They are not affiliated with the building behind them.
That is now called the Tropicana.

Okay, still looking But we did find accommodations at both Marriott Surf and Divi Phoenix. Both are close to the same cost. There will be 2 of us. We have stayed at the Marriott in the past and liked it. Which would you choose???
