Question Tranquillo Snorkeling

Question for those of you who have done this trip....

How difficult is getting on and off the boat? We will be travelling with my mother who is a senior and in relatively good condition but I would like to know if it's difficult. Do you walk onto the boat from the pier or do you have to take a launch?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Just a little over a month to go....yoo-hoo!

Alison

The Tranquilo is moored just off the pier by the Rad, you take a small dinghy over to it. Getting on/off the Tranquilo is easy, but the dinghy may present some difficulties for an elderly person. Best advice is to go to the pier your first morning and watch them loading, then decide if it looks possible for her. They leave at 9:30/10:00 AM...hopefully you try, it's a great trip you'll always remember. Good luck!

Good suggestion, kevin! The dinghy is tricky. Also Alison - the seating is not too comfortable. I remember we sat on different spots right on the boat. The Mi Dushi may be better for her since they have seats to sit on and is also a more comfortable, easy-going ride. The Tranquilo went quite fast on the way back on our trip.

Hi,

With the good advice on here, my husband was wondering what or where the best company is to go diving?

Thank you in advance

Hi,

We have been emailing unigue sports and pelican for two weeks and no reply, are they always like that? Leave on Monday, and wanted to book dives in advance.

My mom is in her upper 70s and went on Tranquilo. They do have some seats covered with a Bimini top that is suitable for older people.
