Default Best Breakfast Buffet?

My husband and I are returning to Aruba soon and always like to do one morning at a really great breaksfast buffet. We tried the Hyatt's last time and thought it was just average. That's where we stay though so we would like a place that is close by. Any good suggestions? Thanks!

We also love a good breakfast buffet, but always make sure it's on or near our last day, because I have no self control and will eat WAAAAAAAAAAAAY too much. When I walk (get carted ) away from the table, there's no putting on a bathing suit for days...

We've always stayed at the Ren, whose buffet is also only so-so. This year we're staying on Eagle Beach, so I'm waiting for some responses to your query as well - here's hoping someone points us to a good spot!

Red face Re: Best Breakfast Buffet?

My family stayed on Eagle Beach also. We stayed at LaCabana, and used the AI plan. The Captain's Table has a wonderful breakfast buffet. Tables of fresh fruit, breads, eggs, bacon, you name it. They even have an omelet station.

I stay at LaCabana and haven't heard good things about the Captain's Table breakfast at all so I am curious to try it.

kevin- From Eagle Beach drive up to Amici's next to Texas de Brazil on the right. They have homemade pancakes and waffles - delicious breakfast (You might want to jog back if you eat until you're ).

Sounds like a plan - but we don't go on vacation to jog, so I'll be piling on the feedbag and then loosening the belt. That's the routine, and I'm sticking to it!

On Eagle Beach at CasaDelMar there is the Calypso Restaurant that has a great breakfast buffet every day for $8. and a Sunday Brunch as well. We always enjoy our meals there.

Our first year in Aruba, we made plans to "power walk" and visit the gym in LaCabanna often. The first morning, we get up early and walked all the way to that windmill!!! Could hardly make it back in that heat, never walked or jogged again unless it was on the beach!

we had the breakfast buffet at lacabana 2x and thought it was quite good for the price-23$ for 2 of us. The only thing was they did not have any good pastries or breads if this is something you enjoy-i dont care about that stuff. We also tried the outdoors one next door at the amsterdam hotel and that one had 2 levels cold and hot and cold but would not go back there. This one was outside with no view and the birds were flying in landing on the food table and the price was a bit more so next time would walk to palm beach for breakfast on the beach with a view and a better price or have the one at lacabana.
