Does anybody know if most restaurants allow a plate share, with a fee of course? I keep hearing how big the food portions are and I am not a big eater at all. Typically I eat almost half of what is on my plate many times less. I am not trying to be cheap but it would be ashame if we spent tons of money on great food for myself and more than half would not be eaten and thrown away!
Can anyboby help? Thanks, Brilla |

Some do and some dont. You will have to ask, if it is not on the menu. Alfredos does not allow sharing and it so states on the menu. They serve huge portions too. You can take leftovers home for lunch which we do sometimes. Some show a charge of $5 to $11 on the menu for "sharing" and some dont say anything so you have to ask. Might as well get your own meal though if you have to pay more than $7 to share.

Brilla, a group of us go out for dinner most nights.. One couple always shares. One gets a main course and the other gets a salad and a baked potato. They never have a problem. I often share a main course with my sister-in-law depending on what we're eating. I'm with Sherry... leftovers never to go waste if you have a refrigerator. Someone always eats them for lunch the next day.
