Angry Do not go to Cafe Bahia

On Monday Sept. 3rd 2006 I and my partner with 3 ladies were there and I was beaten by the bouncer and 5 other patrons who were hitting on the 3 girls and did not like it. I asked one of the patrons to stop hitting on the girls for they like girls not boys. To my suprise I was attacked by the patrons and a bouncer. The patrons kicked my feet out from under me and proceeded to kick me to the ground were they and the bouncer kicked the left side of my body braking 3 ribs and fracturing my left shoulder. I need help locating the patrons. They are supposed to be from the Island of Curisel with a drag racing team and frequent the island of Aruba often.

To my knowledge the police have arrested the bouncer but can not locate the other perpetrators. If any one has any information about this please let me know or call the Aruba Police.

Thanks
I would also like to know of an attorny so I can sue the all parties involved.

beaten, i am sorry for your problems. i will tell you that civil suits never happen in most countries including aruba. if they caught someone and he is in jail that is about the best revenge you can get.

meanwhile, we are hearing only one side of this story. would one of our aruban members please ask the owners of cafe bahia if they can please post here so we have two sides?

beaten, we hate to only show one side of any argument so please understand why i am asking cafe bahia for their story.

I understand all sides should be heard. These geys were hitting on all the girls in the bar and nobody stud up to them. So I did in a polite maner.:

Thanks to 'Rocks' for providing that link, maybe 'beaten' can do some research and move forward. I'd love to know more details about this incident - normally bouncers (and patrons) don't just start punching and kicking w/o some sort of instigation. Hopefully we hear more on this, or it just becomes another story that came and went...

Thumbs up Re: Do not go to Cafe Bahia

Sad to hear your story, hope things turn out all right for you.

We have been to the Cafe Bahia many times and at different times.
The Bahia is mostly locals but many visitor go there, I must say that I am very surprised that something like that happen. Each time there was nothing but good food and drinks with a lot of conversions with the locals.

Oh, ok, thats the place on the same road as Carlos and Charlie's. What an old map!!! Still shows the Ren as the Sonesta!!

That place always looked a little seedy to me, so am not sure that I would have ever gone in.

Sorry to hear about what happened, unfortunately in a case like this probably nothing much will come of it, it may have to just be one of those things you have to let go.
