Question French Steak House

I have reservations for the French Steakhouse while we are in Aruba. I received an email from them to confirm the reservation. In the message, they said we would be seated indoors. I just assumed that they were an indoor only restaurant - is it better to dine indoor or outdoor?

Thanks!

Indoors has A/C and on some nights live piano music (dinner-type music.)

Outside seating is by the pool and you get a nice breeze (but not too windy).

They are both very nice and pretty. Can't really say which is my favorite since I like the seating at both.

Would indoor or outdoor be better for a family with smal children?

Thanks

Amy - thanks for your help. Since the restaurant confirmed that I have reservations inside, I guess we'll dine indoors and enjoy the piano and air conditioning too!

---- Ditto same here. Over the years have dined in both areas many times. For small children outside may be better as less formal and a little noise won't be heard by others. Also over the years their Catch of the Day has be always great. My grandsons have eaten in the inside dining room and liked it.

Keep in mind that service there can sometimes be slow, and children (and adults!) can become restless during a 2-3 hour dinner experience. Outside may be better for that as well...food is excellent, it just may take a while to be served.

We were there (without kids) two weeks ago and it only took just over an hour. The place was completely dead when we got there at about 5:30 and didn't fill up much before we left. Food was great.

That's our favorite place. There isn't any real "wall' between inside and outside so maybe you can get the best of both worlds by getting seated close to the outdoors.

Our family, two adults, two teens ate there last week. Although the hotel its in is a little plain and low scale, the restaurant itself was terrific. The food quality and choices were wonderful and the service attentive and not slow. Light live background music. We ate inside but its really one big open area. The outside apperaed to overlook a small pool. Don't think there was much of a difference where you sat. The prices were very reasonable. We'd defintely recommend it and were surprised that many tables were unoccupied. We made our reservations on line and that process was simple.
