Default Good "family" place to eat???

Heading to the Divi all-inclusive shortly and I'd like to take my wife and 12 year old to dinner "off property" at least one night.

Any suggestions for good food and fun atmosphere?

Thanks.

I'll second Iguana Joe's. It's a casual place in downtown O-stad overlooking the busy area and the marina. Great food (and drinks), fun atmosphere, and reasonable prices. Ask for a table near the outside edge, so you can people-watch. Try the key lime pie - YUM!

I third Iguana Joes! And there are some cute shops in the Royal Plaza Mall right there that she may enjoy!

Bingo's is another place to try. Mike(the owner) and his staff are great and they will make any special meal your 12 year old would want.

Donnie,
Did Mike ever email you a menu for Bingo's? I wrote him but he did not respond.

How about Alfredo's and after dinner you can treat your 12 y/o to a game of miniture golf, paddle boats, pin ball, etc. Our kids had a blast there and it was nice to do something "for them"...although they enjoy snorkleing, swimming and stuff like that, this was a real kids night! The food is not excellent but good. Its a family from Boston that owns it but I understand they are not chefs.
