The movies at the cinema are all first run just as you would see them where you live.

We have never gone to the indoor theatre. However, every year we go to "car crash" night at the drive-in at least one time during our 3-4 week stay. Great fun and usually a good movie (also cheaper than the casino). We pop some popcorn, fill our thermos with whatever we are drinking that night, throw some pillows and a blanket in the car, back into the parking spot, open the hatch-back on our Yaris and have a blast. There is also a lot of visiting with people in the cars/pickups on both sides. The locals cannot believe that 3 American women would do something like coming to a local drive-in. They want to know what made us decide to do that instead of the "tourist stuff". We always tell them we wanted to get away from the tourists for a while and they think that is great.

Smile Re: Movie Theatre

I don't know if my directions will help or not as I don't know the name of the street it is on, but here goes. Go thru town and past the airport about a mile (estimate). It is on the left side of the main road. You can see the screen from the road. A few times we have missed the turn-off and had to make a u-turn when we saw the screen and come back to it. The theatre will be on your right after you turn onto the side street. You do not turn directly into the drive-in but have to take the road that runs right beside the road you are on. I'm sure someone can give you better directions but it is not really that hard to find. We have enjoyed going there. Not only do you get to watch a movie but you get to interact with a lot of the locals, mostly family groups. On "car crash" nights I think it costs about $4 U.S. for the car load, but I'm not sure. One of the other "girls" paid for it last year. Cheap entertainment and we saved a bundle that night by skipping the casino.
