I think it's La Terrazza - whatever the name, we eat there a couple times every year. I love the atmosphere, and the food is great!

That's the place I'm thinking of, there's an ice cream place right next to it. We ate there a few times and loved it, even the bathrooms were very nice. We love to eat outdoors, the ambiance and view are nice, and the food-

I glad you guys had it good there. We ate there in 2001 and
were greatly dissapointed. It was our last nite in Aruba to boot. But that's o.k., Aruba has so many great places to eat and drink besides this one. later, millertime |

It just seemed as though you said you eat your first and last night's meals at Pelican's Nest, but you also said you ate at Don Carlo's, and were disappointed because it was your last night
. I was just suggesting you heed your own advice and stick with PN for your last night ...Speaking of which, Pirate's Nest vs Pelican's Nest? Which is better, and which one is at Bucuti? We're staying at Costa Linda this year, and plan to have dinner at Bucuti one night - I thought it was Pirate's Nest, now I'm not so sure...

Thanks Elaine, we want to try some of the nicer restaurants this year, so it's good to know what's worth it and what might not be. We've usually stayed at the Ren and cooked much of our meals in, I think this year (at CL) I've got my wife convinced to allow for more $$ to be spent so we can enjoy MJ's, French Steakhouse, Marina Pirata, and maybe Pelican's Nest as well. Thanks again!

Another restaurant you might want to try Kevin is Bella Luna. It's not often mentioned on here, but the food is very good. They have a 5 course dinner for just under $30 apiece. It's the old Pavoratti's....and next to Sole Mare. When I was there in February, I noticed that they redid the bar area. It's never crowded, and I can't understand why. Other than a few restaurants that are pricey, eating out at good restaurants won't break the bank. If you rent a car, Promenade in Saanicholis is wonderful, too. Again, not real expensive. Staying there 3 weeks, I get tired of going out every night so I usually do a Subway or something easy a few nights. I take it back to my apartment .... have my wine and I'm a happy person! Later!
