I am looking for a nice romantic dinner with good food on the beach. Which should I choose: Passion's on the beach OR The Flying Fishbone?

Just based on the general consensus that I read on the bulletin boards, I would say Flying Fishbone would be the one.

An afterthought - Flying Fishbone isn't exactly on the beach but it is on the water.

Are you renting a car? That would make my decision easier. I've never been to FF cause we never rent a car and a taxi is 29.00 each way!

No, we did not plan on renting a car for that night. Do you know anything about Passions? I do not hear a lot of talk about it.

I agree about the car. If you have a car, Flying Fishbone. If not, then Passion.

It just opened last fall. We ate there in Sept. and thought it was very nice....and nice to not have to drive all the way to Flying Fishbone!

Thank you. That info. was so helpful. I just e-mailed Passions for reservations. I hope it's not too far from the Radisson.

Maybe about a $6 cab ride from the Radisson. It's located at the end of Eagle Beach at Amsterdam Manor.

we love taking the bus...the bus stop is right outside the Rad and you get off right in front of Passons. Just tell the bus driver to let you know when the Amsterdam Manor is coming up. They are great like that. If you've done enough island hopping by the time you go to Passions, you'll know exactly where to get off the bus. Can't miss the Amsterdam Manor (its Yellow color is hard to miss and you have LaCabana right next door)

Have you looked into Pirates Nest, Mirandi or Simply Fish (I think that one is one the beach or overlooking the water)???

I really like the Pirates Nest although is doesn't get good reviews (not many reviews at all actually, good or bad). They can set you up with a private table with a private waiter on the beach. I believe Simply Fish does also.

I would go with Flying Fishbone- very romantic- sometimes there is a nice guy playing saxephone there and the sunsets are well- great Aruban Sunsets. The food is very good.
