I think you mean 2005??? But you should just watch the fire works and then head to any of the parties on the island.

I agree. The fireworks at midnight are unbelievable. It covers the whole island for about 1 hour. The favourite spot to watch, if you have a car, is from the lighthouse. I usually go to the top floor walkway of the rear building of the La Cabana.
Restaurants are quite busy and some really raise their prices.

Take your rental car up to the Lighthouse as the view is spectacular! Grab a blanket and a bottle of wine and make it a romantic evening. Forget the parties and enjoy each other. I'll be there with my honey too and can't wait till then. And you are right on the year, New Years Eve IS still 2004.
