We tried a new restaurant in Aruba on our latest trip ending Jan. 3, 2005. This was our 15th trip in 13 years so we have been to many, many restaurants. This was Pincho's Grill and Bar at the Surfside Marina. The food was excellent, the menu was un-pretentious, the service was very attentive, the prices were quite modest, and the view (we went at sunset) was breath taking. Don't look for fancy appetizers or huge dessert menus. Look for a great meal with a fantastic view at great prices.

When were were last at Aruba in August at our timeshare, we tried out the new restaurant, Mirandi's, which is at that marina. We saw Pinchos Grill and Bar and made a note to try to go there next time. It got very good reviews from others we spoke with. By the way, Mirandi's is a must to dine at. Very comfortable and casual, an open straw hut with a cut out of sand dining in the center of the hut for that outside experience. The cuisine is excellent and the prices modest and has very good service. We went at sunset and I captured the most exquisite photo which I now have matted and framed and sits on my wall at home. A nice momento.
