I am in the process of making dinner reservations for us and I have seen Chalet Suisse appear on the top 5 lists. Can anyone tell me what kind of food they serve and if there is a website for me to visit? Also, do I need to make reservations for there?

Chalet Suisse has a very varied menu. You can get just about anything. Their rack of lamb is great as is their onion soup.. They even have German food! Yes, you should make reservations!! Ask if you can sit on the enclosed porch... it's all windows and very nice.

Hello. I was there three nights ago. I had heard it was wonderful. Honestly it tasted like buffet style food you would get at a wedding or something. I had the filet mignon and it was good, but boring. not worth the $50 total for my meal alone. Some locals recommended Madame Janettes and it was 100 tiimes better than chalet suisse, service was better. food quality, atmosphere, everything!

I have to say that I've never had a bad meal at Chalet Suisse. I love the rack of lamb, and the sea bass... never tasted like buffet food to me, and never found it boring, but that's why there's chocolate and vanilla. Then again, I'm probably one of the few who isn't crazy about MJ's.
