Does anyone know what happend to a LaCabana Security Guard on Wedn, July 14? My family and I were crossing the street to catch the bus for Oranjestad, and there was a Security Guard lying on the edge of the Sand near the street. Everyone was hovering around him. Then came the ambulance to take him away to the hospital. What happend?

I read an article yesterday that a security gaurd had jumped and committed suicide. I cannot seem to find it right now, when I do I will post it.

Security guard commits suicide


HE LEFT A LETTER FOR HIS WIFE AND CHILDREN

Palm Beach, Aruba

July 15th 2004,


At 8:00pm on Wednesday police was called at Playa Linda Beach Resort
for a suicide case. At the scene police encountered the body of a
male in a pool of blood. Because of the severe injuries on his body it
is believed that he fell from the highest floor or from the roof of
the hotel. The male whose name is Louissant Augustin was born in Haiti
and worked as a security guard at the resort. It is not known what the
motive is for him to commit suicide. Police found a letter in his
car addressed to his wife and children who reside in Aruba.
