Prior to adopting our 9 year old, as a couple, we've been to Aruba many times. Now dh and I need to look at Aruba from a child's perspecitive... what is neat about Aruba and what do kids like to do while there...

Hi Lisa! When I started going to Aruba, my daughter was 12, a little older. She loved our resort, LaCabana. They have a kid's camp during the day, with lots of activities. I believe other resorts have this as well. They also have an arcade room. Generally, she just loved playing on the beach, the pool and pool slides, getting her hair braided and the Mi Dushi boat ride with a rope swing. She often met other kids to play with at the resort.

There is also on the island a Donkey farm, an Ostrich Farm and a Butterfly Farm if she likes animals.

Hope this helps you!

Thumbs up Re: Suggestions???

Thanks Corrine! All great suggestions. I would be giving away my age if I said I still remember when Donkeys roamed free on the island
I am still trying to find out pricing on the kid's club at the Radisson. They never responded to my email

Lisa, there are still plenty of donkeys roaming free on the island. The donkey sanctuary was established for those donkeys who are ill or have been mistreated and need daily care. They do a wonderful job at the sanctuary and we always try to visit each year to make a donation.
