I Love Aruba '1 Bedroom Appartment Low Rent - Long Term Required'

I am moving to Aruba on 2 years work contract in January 2009. If any-one can sugest 1 Bedroom / low-rent (US$ 250-US$300 per month) home/appartment/flats etc. the duration should be long term.

Congrats-What kind of job will you be doing in Aruba?

Also, your best bet is the Aruba Today newspaper or Diario. I rented for a year in Aruba and found the best deals in the papers. ALOT of homeowners have apartments in their backyards and they rent them for extra income. I had a VERY nice one in Paradiswijck (right outside downtown) and the rent was 400.00 per month. That was in 99-2000. I think 300.00 will be hard to find, and if you do, it will not be close to town or the beaches......unfortunately EVERYTHING in Aruba seems to have doubled since then...last year when I was there, I was amazed in the prices of everything.......then again, everything here is going sky high. Best of luck to you......p.s. both papers are available online.
