it seems that as of today, le dome has closed its doors. we are trying to get more details so if anyone has news on this, please let us know.

I heard it closed last Friday. I have drove by La Dome many times in the over 2 months I had been there this year. There have hardly been any cars when I have passed. Another restaurant that has closed is Gambero Rosso downtown at Mar Azul Marina mall. La Terraza that was a favorite of alot of locals especially when they were behind the Renaissance closed last summer.

it is really sad to see good places closing. with a bad economy in most of the world, it is affecting tourism everywhere. i see deals to so many places that would never drop prices before. tourist destinations are really hurting.

And King Ribs is gone. The owner now sells timeshares.

King Ribs gone ???????? Now I'm really depressed, best Barbeque on the island or Michigan for that sake !!! I LOVED that place great food, great valuse and finger lickin fun

Some people get lost in thought because it's unfamiliar territory.

King Ribs was the best ribs in Aruba, but they went downhill - we didn't bother ordering any takeout last summer because everything we ordered in 2007 was pretty bad. It's a shame - we loved their ribs & chicken - ordered twice in 2006. Looks like the owner had other interests - didn't see him there in 2007.
