3 days to go!

I put a "countdown clock" on my computer so now I know at a glance...82 days...I really need it after todays 10 inch, heavy, wet snow. My snowblower did just enough for us to get our cars in and out (and not an inch more), and that took 2 hours, before the packed snow on the wheels and blades said "no more, this is inhumane!"

Even though I bailed out of Ohio in the last ice storm (Jan. '05) & have been in San Diego ever since, I have 80 days until Aruba where the weather & beaches are much better! We're scheduled to go for only a week, but are trying to figure out a way to stay at least one more. Just booked airfare & timeshare trades for two weeks in Dec. '05, so this is going to be a very good year!

corrine it is a different site than the first. nope, i would never tell anyone to get preggers. never, ever, never no way, lol.

go to link...click on the part that says 'vacation and travel'(don't forget on all the rest to click 'next'), select a ruler...that is a pattern to show where you are on your countdown, select a slider...that is the thing that slides along the ruler to show where you are on your countdown, enter your date, i have 4 months 2 weeks until my august trip to aruba.

Leaving May 16th from Logan!!!!!Can't wait as it has been a long,hard winter.

tough going on a beach vacation when you don't like water sports but besides the standard things to do in the water (keep it clean guys, lol) there are 1 1/2 golf courses--be prepared for high difficulty due to 20mph or better winds most of the time, biking, tennis courts at most hotels and timeshares, a few good gyms, and do check out baseball on the island...it is a major sport. i don't know if there are any games or training while you are there but ask. the 'large' mountain of the island is under 1,000' so anyone with some stamina, good hiking shoes, and a really really large bottle of water should be able to climb it. it isn't a sharp slope. do remember that it is hot on the island so consider that as you plan activities.

Lisa Boston....what day are you leaving??

TomK - I have a HS senior too! I can tell you the girls love to shop downtown and get their hair braided. They all will love hanging out on the beach. Some resorts have pool tables which my daughter and her friends enjoy. ABC Tours has a 1/2 day Jeep Tour which is great way to see the sights of the island. Do you or they not enjoy water sports? Teens love to rent jetskis take a ride on one of the banana boats on the beach.
But let me give you a heads up - there is a drinking age of 18 on the island, but never checked. Beware of all the Happy Hours, resort bars, etc. The kids will easily be able to get drinks, since they are 18 or look it. Carlos and Charlies is somewhere they love to go - but it is a little wild.
Kudos to you to take 10 teens! YOU might need the happy hour!

Ten months, one week ... Made airline reservations today since February is a very busy month, and in order to get a decent seat, have to book very early 'cause the flight normally sells out immediately. Got a little shock....US Air out of Philly = $862 ! Ouch!!!! Actually, my travel agent has all the credit card information, but has to wait 7 more days to book 'cause it's still not 330 days from the return date. Talk about a countdown!!!

There's nothing like counting down is there Elaine? Wow and I thought my 92 days was a long time. Oh well, at least you have 3 weeks while most of us only have 7 - 10 days.

Let me see. Friday at 0905 plane leaves Tulsa. Arrive 0915pm Aruba, that means 3 days and a plane ride. Cant wait.

Once summer gets here.. the countdown stops. I'm one of those few people who enjoys the heat and never complains. Soon as cold sets in - countdown continues, and by that time... it isn't too far away.

I can understand that Elaine.We have always gone on vacation during the summer months and really look forward to it. When the cold sets in, I try not to think about it. Besides there is always this board to keep me warm!
