thanks for the former Phillies. the Yanks sure look good with them.

As for the ticker, its easy once you get the knack. You build it under tickerfactory.com and then cut and paste it to your reply. takes some getting used to, but it as I said, is easy once you get the knack.

I know how to do the ticker, but when I cut and paste and put it on this board, I don't get the image, I get what you just got in this post!!! lol

Greetings All,

I thought it was time to weigh in again with an update on our countdown!! We've got another 85 days to go. UGH, I sure wish this trip was sooner.

Can I tell you guys how hot it is here in Texas? I'd gladly trade Texas heat for the Aruba beach and breeze!

Anyone else going November 23 to December 2nd?

We land on Aruba Saturday evening.

Can't wait! It's been a really rough year and we're looking forward to leaving all our cares and woos behind us until September 12, the day after we get back home.

9 days from right now my plane will be hovering over the island, giving me that rush we all know so well. You all have no idea how badly I need this trip this year, and how happy I am that it's so close. WOOHOO!!!!

Tico - as a fellow New Englander, I know how you feel. I have the first 2 weeks in April each year and knowing that gets me through the New England winters. It will be here before you know it. I have 6 months and 3 weeks to go, but whose counting.

While you won't have the Sox to get you through the next 2 months (I was born the Bronx), we still have the Pats to get us through the winter.

you and I, and few others on this BB have the Yanks to get us through October. then our football teams take over. While originally a Giant fan, and they still are the NY Giants, I have been living in Connecticut since 1969 so I have become a New England Partiots fan.

but before we know it, March 30 will be here and we will have our feet in the surf and a drink in our hand.
