th7799 - we used to go to Aruba every thanksgiving with my brother in law. Always found that the hyatt had a great buffet. If you didn't know where you were, meaning not in the USA, you would think you were home with all you could ask for in the thanksgiving meal. Most hotels offer a Thanksgiving dinner, but you should have reservations.

Turkey on the beach can't be beat.

th-you are 10 days ahead of us. We go 12/3 to 12/17 and it can't get here soon enough. I started our count at 199 so we are making progress.
Ruba-you are sooooooo very lucky to be going in the fall, I know you will have a wonderful time.

Holy toledo...I just counted and we only have 47 days till.......ARRRRUBA!!! Looks like I'm gonna have to get serious with my planning! Since it appears summer is over here in NJ...I guess I'll start putting my summer clothes and bathingsuits in the suitcase instead of boxes, Yippee!!! One thing I did forget to do this year was buy suntan lotion when they get to 75% off. Every year when they are closing up the little stores on our boardwalk here at the shore they discount everything and I usually get some really good buys! Unfortunately I forgot this time, Oh well! With the ban on liquids in our carryons...maybe I will just wait and pick some up at the supermarket (hate to pack it just in case there is spillage).

We always pack our lotion. But we seal it in sturdy zip lock bags, just in case.

Well my countdown is almost over...just 13 more hours till we leave for the airport...I don't know if I will sleep tonight. (Been waking up all week in the middle of the night, just thinking of things that need done and all that). Now I can wake up and get ready to GOOOOO!!! Yeah!!!!! (can anyone tell I am excited and so ready)? I will be checking in a little everyday probably, so everyone take care and be good. "See" you when we get back. Play nice.

Can't help you there as we don't do all-inclusive. Maybe someone else here can help you with that. They have so many liquers here and most of them I have never heard of!!! I saw Red Bull in the stores and I am sure they would have it in the bars too! Nothing like a JagerBomb to get you going!!!

I heard today that they are doing construction at like 2 or 3 bars at the holiday inn?..Any truth?.............The sea breeze bar is torn down and all?.......If so about this stuff is there anyone i can talk to about moving to another hotel or even get some type of refund?...Waz the sense of have AI if theres only like 2 bars to use it at?.......I'll be there in 9 days.......Please help me out asap

I'm in Amsterdam this week and being around the people here, has gotten me in the mood for Aruba! It's been great. I loved seeing the Anne Frank Huis and the other landmarks in the area.

Only 47 more days and I'll be sitting on the beach under one of the palapas at the Surf Club. (that following an early morning venture to the palapa line!!)
