Thanks Corrine! I'll definitely have a trip report. We plan to have a terrific time this year..... we're going to be extra frugal with expenses, so we plan on an abundance of beach & pool time (my very favorite things to do in Aruba). 99% of the meals will be fixed in our room, but I set aside some funds for dinner at the Chef's Table after reading all the glowing reports. We've been very fortunate with dining in Aruba since we've never had a bad meal (even Sbarro's at the airport was pretty good the one time we ate there). Alas, our days of prolific dining out are over due to retirement, resulting in stringent budgeting and healthier eating habits.

We are making our third visit January 13th, and we will probably be walking the beaches every morning and going on a few tours. On this visit I would like to visit Arikok Park, and I wonder what is the most informative tour of the park?

I would also like some recommendtions on restaurants that serve Aruban cuisine especially Kenshi Yena.

So it is 12 days and counting.

Woo hoo Tico, 24 and a wake up!

Betcha those that don't know me think I'm a wild and crazy personarty: instead of the introverted, retiring, elderly lady I really am! My, my, for some reason I've gotten a bad rap!

Speaking of shy and retiring ~ for all of you who don't know this ~ for many years Tico has passed my timeshare on his daily walks in the afternoon, and for many years we've always either chatted a little, or at the very least, said hello to eachother. Last year Dan (BP) met Tico, brought him down to ABC to meet Georgene and I, and lo and behold... Tico was already a friend, I just didn't know he was Tico!!! It was a Kodak moment!! Oh, and his eyes are to die for!!! lol

I can't do the math (months, days, hours, minutes) that quickly (missed that day in school). But I DO know that 2 months from today, I will already be putting on my lotion, enjoying the sunrise and sunset, relaxing with a cold one. And I guess for now, that's countdown enough for me. I'm sure I'll be singing a different tune towards the end of Feb. Leaving March 5th - for 3 weeks!!!!!!!!!!! Oh boy, this BB really gets me going.... I may have to get out the calculator and start a proper countdown.
