We are staying at the Wyndham, we really enjoy it there. April 30th-May 7th. Will be there to celebrate our 16th wedding anniversary.

Hey, we like the Wyndham too. We have stayed there before also. Last time we stayed at the Rad. Happy anniversery and enjoy your trip.

I kinda missed this thread so I dusted it off. But anyway, 2 weeks from today and we're there. I dont think I feel the same uphoria about other destinations. I used to look forward to Thanksgiving. the paddock is one of our favorites and always has been. hubby isn't into ribs so he will have his sate platter that he talks about all year. they have a pork tenderloin that is the best i have ever eaten.

I posted on the first countdown. My trip was Feb 10th to the Feb 24 05, I am now waiting for my next trip Sept 30th to Oct 21st. I wish I could purchase a house in Aruba and go when ever I can.
To all that are going soon have a wonderful vacation and soak up the Aruba happiness for me

My wife and I have been to several different Carribean Islands but this is our first trip to Aruba. Yes, we are Aruba virgins

This is a great board, my second time on and my first post.

We will be at the Divi from June 25 through July 2.

I don't know how this is possible, but we still have 235 LONNNNNNNNNNNG days til we return. I thought there were supposed to only be 365 days in a year?! It feels like it was much longer since we last departed our beloved Aruba (January). There must be some mistake! It's unbearable!

Yes, Corrine it is great news.. He is a great guy...34, has been in the Airforce 16 years, Tech Sgt., not married (I told him I want grandkids). And really nice looking. Geeze I sound like I'm looking for a girlfriend for my son! He would really be ticked If he thought I was doing that!....Any way, he started his diver certification last year in Aruba, and will now be able to complete the certification. I don't know what it entails, but he is happy he will be able to get it done in Aruba. Plus he is a great person and we just love spending time with him. We are so blessed to have such a great son.

well I am rambling....my other kids would get jealous if they heard me bragging about thier brother! Glad they don't read this board!

But Elaine - most of us can only stay 7 - 10 days. You get a whole 3 weeks! And you deserve them!

And, if ever I retire, it'll be longer!! I always say what a lucky lady I am to have that long of a vacation... my boss says it too!! lol Standard answer from me is that I paid my dues in spades!

also forgot to add, everyone has their passports...so the customs agent won't have to tell me "mam, it might be easier if you apply for a passport!" I was getting tired of hearing that..should be a breeze now that I don't have to whip out my BC every time...
