Default Making Flying Fishbone dinner reservations...

It's asking for any requests for special seating options. What should I put in here to get the "best seat in the house"? We are eating there the night of my birthday. Also, we want to be there shortly before sunset so we can watch the sun go down. What would be the best seating time for this? It will be on October 10.

I never been to Flying Fishbone so I don't know what to request as the best table. But I would think a table closest to the water's edge.

Sunset time for Oct. 10 is 6:24 p.m. http://www.timeanddate.com/worldcloc...ear=2006&day=1

Ask for a table on the water around 6pm. (i believe they only open at 5:30).

You will not be sorry! The view will be beautiful!

We are renting either a Jeep, or a car we haven't decided which. Either way yes, we are renting a vehicle for the days we are on the island. We plan on "getting lost" and exploring.

That's great cause the cab ride to and fro is a tad shocking.....and that is THE BEST way to see Aruba.....just jump in the jeep/car and explore !!!
You can never get lost and if you do follow the ben of the Divi Divi tress as they all bend towards the hotels......(northwest)
All the tourist spots are marked somewhat (Natural Bridge, Casibari Rock Formations, Alto Vista Chapel etc etc, albeit they are only marked on the main roads and to take some exploring to find their final destination.....but the hunt is part of the fun ! ENJOY !

Getting lost is what we do best! Not in the actual sense, but my husband has an uncanny sense of direction. He drives somewhere once and can get you back to where you started. We also have a GPS, and I think he's taking this opportunity to see if he can get software with Aruba's roads and landscape on it. What a techie! I know we will have a great time exploring!

If there are only 2 of you, you can get a table on the water. they don't seat larger parties there. They told us they can't really promise anything - the earlier you get there, the more likely you'll get the best table.

To see the sunset, ask to be seated over to the far right (west, one would assume

Either way, it's beautiful and fun. The food is very good - but pricey. Marandi is better (in my opinion) and just as beautiful. Have a great birthday.

Cheers,
Ellen
PS - you can see my pictures of Flying Fishbone and Mirandi on my picture trail.

I was considering Mirandi too. We are doing Flying Fishbone Tuesday night, Madame Jeanette's Wednesday night, which leaves us Sunday, Monday, and Thursday nights for dinner. I will have to confirm which night our dinner cruise is and make reservations at Mirandi.
