Hi we are Tim and Karen from Massachusetts. We will be in Aruba from Jan 15 to the 22nd and are wondering who's going to be on the island with us. We have a timeshare at the divi and would love to hear from couples who will be there too. Last time we went with eight couples and had a blast, this year it's just us. Let us know! Dave & I, & My sister Sherry & Richard will be in Aruba Jan. 7-28, 2006. We are sooo excited to have our 1st 3 week vacation. We are staying at PBV, & we will attend the BB parties at the Amsterdam.

What are the BB parties and how do you get to go? My husband and I will be at the Phoenix from Jan. 28th to Feb. 11th. Not Tom and Karen but Tom and Diane!

The BB parties are simply gatherings of members of the Aruba bulletin boards. They are usually held at the Amsterdam Manor's pool bar, and anyone is welcome to attend.

Entirely possible - the only time we went to one was last year, and it was at the pool bar. It may not have been an 'official' BB party, but rather an impromptu gathering of BBers...

The weekly Monday night BB parties at Amsterdam Manor's beach bar didn't start until Nov. 2004. Prior to that, I helped arrange annual parties for the past few years at Amsterdam Manor which we used to follow with a sunset cruise.

The one Kevin was at in Sept. '04 was actually the manager's cocktail party at the pool bar and a few of us bb'ers got together that night.

This is much easier (especially on me) to have a pre-set time and place every week for a bb party.

sherry and murray are well and enjoying their 4 night stay in atlantic city.
she called last evening to wish us well on our trip. we leave for airport at 5:30.

so, we are off and we are a "shy couple" and will not be looking for other outside activities. hahahahaha
