I've been having trouble logging in but am finally here again.
I saw the trip report seciton but no trip reports.
Is that where I'm supposed to post it with pictures?
I'm still fairly new to this board and have never posted a report here.

good morning getaway, glad to see we got your password situation all settled.

although we have a trip report section, recently we started a blog area. people have started posting their reports there. some people also post them directly on the forum.

to be honest, i got tired of begging people to place their reports in the trip report section. i started feeling like the school principal, lol. so that is why they tend to be in the first section our members decide to put them.

i would suggest you try our new blog area. you will be able to get easy responses to the report and you can download photos to 'all albums' and link the two. it will make it easy to have it all.

I just submitted my trip report and did put it in the trip report section under the Riu. I think it takes a while for it to show up.
I will warn you though...it's a little long and the photoshow I did has over 200 pictures.

thank you for submitting it. it usually takes 1-2 work days because they will add links for restaurants and any other links that apply.

really looking forward to it. never worry that they are too long. we want them detailed to help the newbies and keep us arubaholics happy.

Not sure how much this will help new visitors....I was pretty chatty about some things....
We have friends that want us to join them in September.....still looking for a deal....hopefully something will show up. If not, then we're adding more days next time we return.

Sherry.....can you E-mail me my password. I think I changed it and want to make sure I have the right one.

actually the chattier the better for our new visitors.

as to your password, we never keep it at all. it is your private business and we should never be inside of your account at any time. if you made it on line this time then you used the password. if you had left yourself on line, if you are wrong with your password it will give you the option to tell them that you forgot your password and will send you a new one that you can change to what you like.

i would suggest you write the password down and don't use the same one for everything. when write it down, keep the list of passwords away from your computer so if someone steals your computer they don't have your passwords. i've been thru that and it is not fun.

LOL.....I still think I'm older than dirt...the smileys are easy and it's storming here.......what's new....
I just need to spend more and read more threads. I do see some familiar people on here, which is nice.
Trying to update my avatar.....I think it's operator error...

i am not good at doing pictures or avatars either and i am supposed to know these things. i don't seem to get the time to learn. oh well, at least the members are not alone, lol.

we had a few clear days here but they are talking about stong storms tomorrow. it doesn't do a thing for hydroponic gardens.

I keep getting the message the remote file is too large. And I removed my old avatar but it's there....

Our garden is great....planted it before we left....thank goodness it survived some very chilly nights. Have tomatoes galore....can't wait until they're large and ripe.

It's finally up under the trip reports.....there are a lot of pictures...over 200 and a whole lot of different sunsets and their sequence. If the music gets to people, turn your sound down....

that was awesome! btw, the accidental black and whites were great. so different from what we normally see. to me they were beautiful.

Thank you, Sherry. Yes, I was disappointed with the B&W but a very important person from another board liked them.....more from his era.....and it just gives us another reason to go back and get colored photos.
Next time I won't take so many sunsets though....LOL The was the first time we had great sunsets almost every night and we had a perfect view.

you will still take more than you think of those sunsets. it just happens. you can't control it, lol.

I'll get plenty.......but we spent too much time on the balcony....no wonder we were too tired to venture away from the resort in the eveing....between showers and getting ready for dinner....it was a good 2.5 hours almost every day....but it was relaxing.

nothing wrong with relaxing on the balcony. you can't get that view at home.

Great trip report, Nancy. The black and whites are wonderful!

In all my trips, I've never done pictures, but I'm determined to take some my next trip!! Must remember to take my camera out of the drawer!!

Elaine......I take two cameras....my amphibious SeaLife and my Canon....at least this year I remembered to let them adapt to the humidity....messed up a lot of pictures in October taking the camera from air conditioning into the heat and humidity...they blur.
Love the little SeaLife for snorkeling and the beach...no worries about it getting wet.

How are you and Marnie? Hope you got that much needed rest.

Elaine, I had to smile when I read that you are finally ready to take pictures. That will be something to behold!!! Happy Fourth of July weekend, dear friend.
