I think so Sherry. I think alot of people will refer to it prior to their trip to Aruba, it may not be getting the hits now since it is low season.

Honestly I think I came across it once. Maybe to have a "Dictionary" thread with words listed as a reference for people and we could add things we learn to it also.

PS...I tried finding it. Where are the Language Lessons? I searched it and it came up with zilch.

PPS...OK, found them. Needed to search "lessons" not "language lessons". I would keep it as more of a reference item.

winebrat, i don't know how to make it more obvious than to have an entire section on the board called 'talk the talk'. it is an entired heading under the yada yada section and you can find it on the first page of the board.

Don't get me wrong. I think it is a good idea but it's not something I would use on a regular basis, especially since Papiamento isn't common in PA.
I would use it as a reference tool, which is why I would find it usefull before traveling. I thought you were discouraged it wasn't always active, but maybe others use it as such also.
I myself go straight to the "New Posts" when I log on and if it isn't there, I usually don't think to search something out.

I agree with Nanc. Not many people are going in the near future due to low season. Plus, the Holiday Season is coming up - no time to study lessons!

I voted 'no' - not because it's a bad idea, but because it doesn't seem to garner much interest and therefore doesn't merit Sherry's efforts. I do know that bits and pieces of Papiemento can be found on various sites, but I thought it would be a good idea for these lessons. I see by the lack of hits, and the lack of responses to this poll, that the interest just isn't there.

Sherry, it's up to you. If you don't mind continuing, I'm sure you'll reach a few grateful people! If not, I completely understand.
