When we were on our recent trip to PA, Shawanee Depuy resort we were asked to take a quick survey of our stay. Well we knew it was a timeshare presentation, but we went anyway. We found out that Fairfield had just pruchased the resort and was in the process of refurbishing the units.

Anyway, the guy we were talking too was very knowledgeable. He told us that fairfield was taking over the ABC, divi and the divi village as well as a couple of others on Aruba and would be going to a point system. I asked him if he knw about the Casa Del Mar as they are next to each other. I also asked him if he meant the aruba phoenix, or aruba grand? He said no it was the Aruba Beach Club and that on our next stay we will be given the opportunity to buy points etc. Has anyone else heard anything????

I will probably log onto TUG and ask this same question...

That's interesting, but I certainly think that if that were "in the works," our last newsletter from ABC would have touched on it. Easy enough to find out... write to Martin and ask him if that's true.
