Conditions at Aruba Beach Club
I just returned from an all too short 10 day stay at our club. I can honestly say I have never seen it looking so good. Everything is in bloom, all of our buildings look great. According to the general manager, the resort was almost fully booked, however it did not feel that way. It felt very unfull. No daily chickie wars.. (ie go down at 5am to get #58) and we only "lost" one chickie due to Omar. There are several at the edge of our beach, but they are not down. The rocks are exposed and its interesting to get in the water, but it is improving every day.
We have a new vendor in that rents computer time. It did rain for 12 minutes on Wednesday morning (nov 5) haha no big deal. Great sun and the water was wonderful. Could not ask for better conditions. I am only sorry I did not stay the entire week, but am happy to have traversed the airport on a Tuesday rather than the dreaded Saturday. Easy flow.
Next year can't come soon enough. The only down side to my entire trip was the waste of time and money at Madame Janette. It was my 2nd attempt at a meal there and my last. Shoe leather would have tasted better than the steak they served me. To their credit they offered to change it or get me something else, but it was too late. I think they have expanded too much, and no one ever said welcome, just "oh you are early" here is a buzzer we will call you. what a waste of my time.
Best dinner this visit.. Swiss Chalet.. hands down.
ok, so anyway just wanted to let everyone know that our club looks and feels great.
Later,
K
