Is anyone else peeved at this, besides me? This is twice in 2 years!

I'm sure not happy! When I was there last month and complained, all I heard was ~ this is just a little raise! All of a sudden within less then a two year period of time the superior unit went from $350 to $405! And, it wasn't that long ago that we had an assessment for the renovation!! I've heard this raise is because of the new tax! Hell, we pay for the new tax in the energy tax that was raised!!

Well, I did my part and voted "no", but I'm only a one-week Deluxe unit owner.....my votes don't count for much.

This is the first I have heard about this? Could someone explain what happened. I sure would appreciate it..

I think we at the Aruba Beach Club should consider ourselves very lucky. Have you looked at some of the other resort's maintenance fees? Ouch!!

And did you know that Aruba is no longer going to have a 6 day work week, it will go to 5 and 1/2 days. Thats still longer than most white collar workers in the U.S. We will either have to pay our employees overtime or hire part time employees, or.. stop having daily maid service.

Everything is going up in Aruba. I keep hearing more and more that food, restaurants, the public bus (wow, a whopping $2.60 round trip). It is the price of going on vacation. Take a look at resorts here in the US, almost none have daily maid service, our wonderful beach, small cozy resort, yet all their fees are much higher. I will pay it and come when I can.
