is was the only way I knew how to get all my ABC/CDM members informed.. what you also need to know is Manchebo is sold and some have genuine concerns as to what the real motive for this massive sell off is about. To those that this does not concern I do apologize.

I have heard, the man that is looking to purchase large blocks of ABC rooms is from the same company that is ( or is trying to purchase Manchebo ). They are also involved with what is going on over at La Cabana Villas.

Greetings concerned members of ABC---we will try not to bombard you with too many emails.

Our first contact with the judge on Friday was positive---he has provided for a temporary stay so that the sale cannot happen until he hears arguments from the lawyers for both sides---the board was probably not going to act until the Jan 21st Board meeting but just in case the stay is now in effect--we will know more Monday. We still need more NO votes--the more the better--Aruba as you know is 1 Hour ahead of Eastern so I think all FAXES should be sent prior to 11PM Eastern time on Jan 15th. Ballots after that may be useful but may not be allowed in the vote tally.

Most of us have visited with fellow members returning year after year adjacent to our rooms and on the beach--forming friendships all across the world. ABC members are a wonderful lot and very nice to visit with. Hopefully this site will make it possible for the whole ABC family to form friendships with each other.

It has been very hectic as we have formed this members group from a handful of members that were concerned about this sale. If we have seemed hurried or anxious please forgive us as we are still under time constraints. If you get multiple emails --let us know and we will work on removing duplicate names as soon as possible. Right now we don't have the capability for multiple emails per owner--ie Member Number -- if you have more than one member number each number will get an email even if they are duplicate --sorry for the inconvience but we will get all this worked out in time --please forward your email messages to your spouse or other family members that are co-owners to keep abreast.

I'm an ABC owner, and have already voted, however, on another board the manager of Manchebo denies it is sold or that it's for sale. I believe, or at least hope that this is a rumor that got spun out of control.
