Manager and Controller, has been appointed as acting General
Manager while the Board seeks candidates to fill this position.

Not a note of thanks to Martin in the Fall newsletter, just that they are seeking to fill the position.

I hope they will say a bit more in the way of Thank You in the Spring Newsletter. Im going to send a note asking why..

Ok, received an email back. The Board is not allowed to discuss Martin's departure per order of their attorney. When they can, they will let all the Members know.

Kathleen ~ I had heard about Martin leaving, but it was never mentioned, why! I'm not really that unhappy since he ticked me off once too many times.. and, the few times that I questioned him or asked him to get something resolved, it was never done.

glad to hear that!!!you are right, he was a bit nasty at times and yes things never were resolved,,,who is it now?

The Assistant Manager and Controller is acting until we get a replacement.

I just heard from someone, who's sister was there when Martin left. It seems Martin was given 2 hours to clean out his office and leave the premises. Hmmm There seems to be more to this story than just his contract ending.

Very interesting....On the other post the question was asked if the timeshare owners had represntation at the meeting. I have never seen anyone on the board there during the weeks we go. How about you Elaine? Have you seen any of the board there? Martin was always so vague with his answers. I know we had several complaints a couple of years ago and he was very rude and short with his answers. Somethings fishy....I sure would like to find out what really happened. Someone will spill the beans. Too bad I'm wasn't there..I understand spanish, and the workers are always talking about stuff! I am sure the whole place was abuzz!
