Dear Aruba Allegro Vacation Club Member:

The Occidental Grand Aruba has been going through a change and we are pleased to let you know that the quality of our property is greatly improved, as have our service levels. This is increasing the value of your membership and the worth of your holidays. At the same time, some of the Rules and Regulations concerning the All-Inclusive policy have changed as well. Hopefully this letter will help you to more fully enjoy the membership you own.

If you own an Optional Contract:

If you have an “optional contract,” you do not have to buy the All-Inclusive program to enjoy your purchased week. However, if you are using bonus time, the purchase of the All-Inclusive is mandatory for the entire stay.

As a new feature, Members with Optional Contracts have the following alternatives to enjoy the hotel food and beverage services:

(a) You may purchase the All-Inclusive program directly from the Front Desk, or when booking your reservation at our reservation center. The purchase of the program must be for the entire stay and for everyone staying in the Club unit; if you purchase it while already at the resort, it must be for the date purchased through the balance of the stay until your departure date.

(b) You may purchase a Beverage Only program (currently at $45.00US per adult per day and $25.00US per child). The purchase of this program must be for the entire stay and for everyone staying in the Club unit; if you purchase it while already at the resort, it must be for the date purchased through the balance of the stay until your departure date.

(c) As a Member, you may also purchase a Breakfast package for $25.00US per day per person; children are at half price. This package must be purchased for the entire stay and for everyone staying in the Club unit; if you purchase it while already at the resort, it must be for the date purchased through the balance of the stay until your departure date.

(d) Dinners may be purchased on a “nightly” basis from any of the restaurants the following prices per person, including wine and all beverages:

- $55.00 pp at The Palm Buffet Restaurant
- $75.00 pp at L’Olio Italian a la cart restaurant
- $80.00 pp at Zen Pacific Asian restaurant
- $65.00 pp at El Olvido Mexicanrestaurant
- $75.00 pp at Desire Caribbean restaurant

Notes: Prices are subject to change without notice. Advance reservation is needed for all a la carte restaurants and members must comply with dress code.

If you own an All-Inclusive Mandatory Contract:

In order to enjoy your purchased week, or while using bonus time, you must buy the All-Inclusive program. The purchase of the All-Inclusive program must be for the entire stay and for everyone staying in the Club unit.

Rate Guarantee: We want to make sure you have the best rates available. Therefore we adhere to the rule that a Member’s All-Inclusive rate must be at least 35% less than the Rack Rate of the hotel at any given time. If, after our rates are published, the hotel should lower its rate, our members will always receive an automatic reduction.

Special Discount, Last Minute Rates: We want to protect you! We believe that the Vacation Club members should receive the best rate possible in the market. If at any time there is a published lower rate, or even one that is equal to a member’s rate, the Club will adjust the member’s rate to be at least 15% lower than the special, last minute published rates.

This applies to special promotional discounts given out by the hotel to fill up specific periods or needs which result in making the All-Inclusive package more expensive to Club members than someone snapping up a last minute holiday “deal.” Our goal is always to make Club members a priority.

Royal Club- These discounts do not apply to the Royal Club Rates.

Name Change: During the course of the year, our brand name “Allegro Vacation Club” will be changed to Occidental Vacation Club. This change will have no adverse affect on your membership level. In fact our aim is to keep improving your membership year after year.

Grand Level Membership: This new level of membership will be introduced shortly. Grand Level members will enjoy access to the Royal Club floors and units, airport limo pick up, VIP exchange packages and other benefits. Membership rates start at $30,000. All other rules, regulations and rights Aruba members had to this point have not change.
