Default Builder in trouble - maybe. . . .

Hi all. If anyone is looking to buy or build a home in Aruba stay away from Better Homes. THey are now getting themselves in trouble with an expansion of a development in Boroncana. They have decide to expand without telling the people in the existing development and are now having to address this with the government. A petion to stop the work was submitted and the story has appeared in the local paper. It may also be addressed on local TV. The owner of Better Homes appears to trying to get his way to build this without addressing any concerns of the families already living in the area. He has also NOT finished work in the existing development. . . . NOT a good way to run a business. . . He does NOT answer e-mails and has NOT met with the people in the existing development. . . .

Be advised, NOT the best company to do business with. .

Further notice. . . The residence of the existing development are going into the Governmant offices for a hearing the last week of September to hopefully get a solution to the road issue into their area over a residential lot. Better Homes seems to be getting a slap for bullying it's way into a new area without playing fair. . . Again, to anyone looking to build a home in Aruba, stay clear of Better Homes. They Are NOT better. . . .

This issue has made the local papers and has forced the government to address it. . . . .
