I won't have to cook...we'll be wreaking havoc on my bil and sil's house. hehehe. I am contributing to the meal, however. susanna....that is so true...grand kids make you feel like doing it all again....

when candy was in college, we had as many as 40 for dinner. we really made it into a feast. then for years we had just family ranging from 8-16 people. this year heather asked if i would have all the cousins aunts and uncles plus significant others... it is not as easy as i get older. i will start cooking this week for a holidy that starts 4/20.

Just a quick note...my Easter didn't turn out the way I planned....Corinne and baby stayed home after all. Hubby wasn't working until 5 p.m., so they were able to attend church services and spend family time together before he went. I was disappointed, but also totally understood. Family traditions that need to be made. Hopefully I get pictures!!!

sorry it didn't work out the way you planned but at least it is for a great reason. a young family is together and happy for a holiday. isn't that a parent's dream? better yet, next year you can extend the tradition and make her cook, lol.
