Smile A merry Christmas and a happy New Year

To all of you a merry Chrismas and a very happy and especially a heathy new year 2006.
Tomorrow I go to Heidelberg in Germany to see my pregnant daughter. She can't make the long trip to us. She probabely will get a caesarian on the 9th of Januari. The baby is due for the 14th of jan. Happens that the baby is lying horizontally which is not good at all. Hope everything will turn out all right.
Sorry for not being here often but I will never forget you guys.
Blenchi

Blenchi - good luck! Our prayers are with you and your family for a smooth delivery and recovery

I'll second the happy holidays wish - I'm off work for 5 days, and will enjoy the break!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you, too, blenchi!! Have a great trip to Germany and a great visit with your daughter! Are you going to stay for the delivery?

I hope everything goes fine on the 9th (or 14th) and that mother, child, and grandmother all do well.

Thank you my friends. It will be a long drive to Heidelberg...some 4 1/2 hours or more. On the german highways there is no speed limit to my husband's delight. When I arrive I will have a car lag and will be exhausted cause I will drive next to him. I don't dare to drive on highways...brrrrr Hey maybe it will be a new years or old years baby? I will be back in Holland the 26th. If the baby comes we go there again. I keep ypou posted.

Have a wonderful visit with your daughter and your soon to be grandchild.

Merry Christmas

(PS while pregnant with kevin, he laid sideways for the last 4 weeks of pregnancy. Finally while in labor, the doctor kept trying to turn him and it was a sight to behold. Incredibly funny for the spectators. I was begging for a section.
Labor began at 11 pm on saturday feb 15, and kevin was finally born by c-sect at 7:29 pm monday feb 17. The doctor would NOT and i repeat would NOT consider a section until i threatened to KILL and sue and was on the verge of suicide. If i remember my words from the get go "Cut IT out of me"
Kevin was 11 lbs 8 oz and 3 weeks early!?! )

Andrea will I send you a PM one of these days to talk about this transverse lie. It is making me very nervous of what I have read. It can be dangerous.

Blenchi: Vrolijke Kerstmis en een Gelukkig Nieuwjaar. De reisbrandkast. Ik hoop zeker dat iedereen goed met uw dochter en uw nieuw kleinkind gaat.

Jackie

(For our non-Dutch speaking family (like me, I used a translator as I couldn't reach Ted on the phone to translate for me)

Blenchi: Merry Christmas and a Happy New Yer. Travel safe. I certainly hope all goes well with your daughter and your new grandchild)
