I Love Aruba Thanksgiving Day Plans?

What's everybody doing for Thanksgiving this year? My daughter has made reservation at a place called the William Penn Inn. She, my son-in-law, Mom and I will be enjoying a nice dinner, and no cleaning up.

Surprisingly, I used to enjoy cooking for all the holidays, and having a house full of company. No more now that our family is getting smaller... It doesn't pay to go through all the trouble of shopping and cooking, and besides, I don't really have the time or inclination to do it.

I think we are heading to Madam Janette's. I have never been and have heard rave reviews about the place! This will be my first time being away from home for Thanksgiving and our traditional turkey dinner in New Hampshire.
Im looking forward to starting a new tradition of napping on the beach after dinner!

It will just be Val, Taylor and I this year. My parents went to my sister's in Ft. Lauderdale early this year.

Just found out one of my sisters and her husband are flying down here (Ga) to spend Thanksgiving week with us. So I guess that means I will be food planning and shopping and cooking. There will be at least 8 of us that I know of and maybe my grandsons girlfriend. Let the holidays begin!!! But I do love the leftovers.

Thanksgiving is at my house. Like Donnie, it was supposed to be the three of us, when my sister invited her and her family over! Love the kids, but hate the brother-in-law!

Ahh... the holidays have begun!

Smile Re: Thanksgiving Day Plans?

Our daughter has invited the family to her new home! She's nervous and we're all excited. Told her you shouldn't get nervous about family-though I always did.
I'm doing the stuffing, sweet potato souffle and two pies. I still get to cook without any of the hassles!
Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday especially those lucky people spending the day in Aruba!
Is especially a word or am I making up words now????
