Default Wild Weather Mid-atlantic states and DC

Got an email from Sherry a while ago saying BAD weather was coming their way.

Weather.com has tornado watches extended til midnight

Anyone have weather reports?

it's over now and supposedly was rather ugly in some parts of maryland. waiting for my leaky roof to start dripping but otherwise it wasn't as bad as it could have been.

Bad storms in Central VA.. Hail, wind.. no tornados. Temp dropped about 10 degrees. Hopefully it'll fizzle out before it hits you.

Here in Ga. we were under Tornado Watch until 11 last night. We had a few sprinkles here and there until about noon, then sun came out and other than the wind blowing the disgusting pollen (normal count is 125 yesterday it was over 3000)-this stuff goes everyplace and it certainly is not good for people like me with allergies. Everyone has a pea-soup-green colored car!!!!! UGGHHHH!!!!! We expect same for today.

Heavy rain and way cool lightning last night in Herndon. We needed this rain so badly. and.. I stopped at my garden on the way home from work last night and got the rest of my beans in "before" the rain.

2 rows of Italian pole beans, 2 rows of snow peas, 2 rows of bush beans.

Can you tell I love green beans!!

Now if would only rain for an hour or 2 a day for the next week, VA might catch up.

Wind was a bit strong though and we are under a wind advisory until 1:00pm here.

Returning you now to your regularly scheduled reading!!

k, i am coming to your garden and stealing the snow peas. saute them with mushrooms and onions and it's the perfect group of veggies. be prepared for the missing peas.

we have high winds expected today too.

I was wondering if any of our friends would be in the path of these storms! Stay safe!!! It's snowing here right now...but that is way better than the storms in the midwest!!

Send me seeds, I will plant almost anything. Im in in prediciment right now about my onion sets. Too close to other veggies and everything tastes like onion, too far in a corner and not enough sun.

Anyone have any experience with what goes best close to onion? I am doing white and red!! Hurry must put down this weekend!!
