Wouldn't it be great if we could all be in Aruba at the same time at some point....I do have a plan in the works that someone suggested I look into. Going to talk to a couple of hoteliers while I'm in Aruba on this trip and propose a Sept. 2007 time frame (with a block of rooms) and see if we can't plan ahead and get as many people as possible to come and have one big Aruba party!

I know 2007 seems like a long way off but that's so people can plan (commit) ahead of time. And I went with Sept. since that is one of the slower months in Aruba and I may be able to get sponsors for "our group". It's a work in progress at this point.....

Amy...we're always there in Sept (met you last year) so if you put it the same time we always go we'll definately be there!!! By the way...will be there the same time as you again this year (our first week is your second I believe) so am hoping to get to the Amsterdam for a bb party again! Will have friends with us this time so I am hoping it will be okay to bring them also.

Looking forward to seeing you again this Sept, too, at the bb party! We had a good time last year as guinea pigs for one of Passion's first dinners on the beach and met so many great people that night!

For the party on the 24th.......

Is anyone interested in having dinner after the party at Bingo? If so, would you prefer ala carte (off the menu), fixed price, or a surprise menu???

Let me know as soon as possible if you'd be interested in dinner at Bingo! Thanks!

Since I deal with food choices all the time with my Bus Tour business, it's much easier to have a fixed food/price menu.

Hope no one mind's if I put my 2 cents in.

Looking at Mike's menu - how about:

Choice of Salad/Soup
1. Salad: Mike doesn't have a separate salad category but I'm sure he can do a mixed salad
2. Soup: French Onion or Soup du Jour

2. Choice of entree:
1. VEGETARIAN DISH
2. FILET MIGNON: Beef tenderloin from the grill, served with béarnaise sauce
3. DOVER SOLE: Baby Dover sole pan fried in butter, finished with fresh lemon
4. TUNA STEAK: Grilled filet of tuna, served with spinach pasta and a chunky tomato sauce
5. A Chicken Dish

To make it easier for the kitchen and everyone attending, I wouldn't mind a set price for the above.

But I do prefer to pay separately for my drinks/dessert/coffee. I had the soup and filet mingon last time at Bingo's and I was sooo full even after the soup. I don't plan on dessert.

Creme Brulee is on the top of my list for desserts. But I don't know if I can do it after Filet Mignon (I'm a big meat eater). It wouldn't hurt for me to try though - I'll be on vacation.

Okay, I'm making an executive decision and going with Passion (dinner on the beach at Amsterdam Manor - live music, too) since more people liked that idea!

Now I need to know who's "in" for dinner so I can give Passion a head count for tables.

This will be the 2nd time for me at Passion.....ALONE....since the hubby won't be there on this trip! I need to find a date....

I would still be up for dinner at Bingo some night if anyone else cares to join me.....
