Well it is getting close to our first trip to Aruba. Kat & I are staying at the Marriott Hotel. We are celebrating a gigantic accomplishment. Kat successfully overcame breast cancer. A clean bill of health...
So, we are going to party Irish & Aruban style, all day, every day.....

Leave a message if anyone will be visiting during these dates. We are looking forward to meeting anyone and everyone. Meeting place TBD.

Wow that is great DiamondDave.
We are celebrating too. After 7 long years I got pregnant with my twins, and on our last trip (before I got pregnant) we made a promise that if we ever had a family our first big trip would be Aruba(we love it) and we can't wait to show our cuties the island that we believe helped in this blessing.
Can't wait to meet you and Kat.

We will be at the Holiday Inn. I think we land about lunch time cause we leave at 6ish in the morning from here (Toronto) Hope there are others out there. It will be fun to get a drink with you all.

Congratulations on the twins.. We are also leaving Cleveland, Oh at around 6:40 am on Sunday. We have a short layover in Newark, NJ. Will be arriving around 1:30pm..... Should be in the hotel around maybe 2:30pm. We will be renting a phone from FastPhones at the airport. When I get the phone number, I can sent it your way. This sounds like fun.

Thanks Donnie. We're thinking that we will pay a visit to the WebCams during our stay. I'm guessing there are 2 of them, Bucuti & maybe Playa Linda? And, of course, it will be Football season. But then again, that's a different thread. Will be rooting for the Steelers while the Browns are in our development period, AGAIN. Will have to meet up with you on the Football thread.

I'm sorry I'm going to miss you guys by just a few days - we don't arrive until Sept. 15th.

Please don't drink the island dry (my husband is Irish, too, so I know how you guys can get!)

Also wanted to mention that Amsterdam Manor has weekly BB parties at their beach bar every Monday at 5pm.

Thanks Amy: Kat is the pretty Irish lady.. I'm Dutch & German.... So, I guess I'll have to watch her that she doesn't 'drink the island dry'.. LOL !!! We will be there on Monday at the Amsterdam Manor, as per your recommendations. We will also have to locate the WebCams and make a sign to greet everyone....

So glad to hear of your wife's clean bill of health. Aruba is such a wonderful place. You will meet many wonderful people there, they are so friendly and helpful. Have a wonderful vacation, and be sure and let us know when you plan on going to the webcam.

dave, the only one i know of that shows live action is at the bucuti. that is behind the alhambra casino in the low rise area. you walk thru their lobby and out the back toward the beach and anyone will be glad to point it out. they are live daily from 9-9:20 am
