as Atlantic City was already in the "fall plans" and if it happens there is a BB party that is good.

Since the poll is now closed and the results are in Atlantic City on October 1, I guess we will begin discussions about where to meet, where to stay etc and we will be in touch with everyone.Looking forward to meeting everyone!

I never know what the heck I'm doing, but I'll have a better chance of showing up if it's in AC. Again, I never make the schedule around here, so we'll see. If I am popping in, it'll be for something like dinner and drinks and then drive home. AC is like a little over 2 hours from here. Not bad.

P.S. I do recommend the Bellagio though. It's the nicest place in AC for sure. Very cool and hip.

i did not know there was a bellagio in AC.
if paul and i go, we will most likely drive down from here on Thursday afternoon Sept 29.....stay at borgata on Thurs and Fi night. ( Hope for a Saturday evening BB party) Sat night drive to Philly. Sun to Amish country and make the trek home on Monday afternoon.
Kind of a lot to squish in for such few days.

Woo Hoo for A.C.!! Don't know if I can convince the Hub., but if I bribe him with staying at the Bellagio.... He's always worried I'll want to visit my nieces and friends while down there (I used to live in Ocean City)!

actually, it's the borgata not bellagio and donnie and i will be scouting prices in the next week or two. been a little busy with the extra load on the bb recently.

Does anybody know of the Flagship Resort.. is it close to the Borgata ??
If any of YOU guys are timeshare people and belong to Interval International.... there are ALWAYS studios available there as it is rather large and tall and on the water.

Do write back.. we May be able to go.. but if WE use a week to hold down a suite at the Flagship... would anyone want to continue usage... that would be the only way to may a weekend for us.. worth doing.. in other words.. if I exchange into there.. we stay a Fri, Sat. Sun... would someone like to rent the remainder of the week from us...( a retiree perhaps..) can PM me.

bevy...the flagship is out on route #30. they provide a free shuttle to the casinos and are supposedly much cheaper. they are one of the places i will be researching.

I've stayed at the Flagship a couple of times. It is definitely worth the money. It's not far from the Borgota, but you will need a car, or a cab ride to get there. It is not near any of the casinos on the boardwalk, unless you really like to walk and it's not too cold. But I would definitely recommend staying here. They have small kitchens, so bring your goodies.
