OK everyone, the date and location are set - this fall we will have the second annual Visitaruba BB party in Atlantic City, everyone is welcome! The date of the big dinner is Saturday Oct 21, but many of us will make a weekend out of it to better enjoy the company (as well as the beach, boardwalk, casinos, shops, etc).

If anyone would like additional details, feel free to post your questions here or send me (or Sherry) a PM. Major hotels on the boardwalk/beach can be expensive, but great bargains can be found by using search engines such as hotels.com, priceline, hotwire, etc. There are also several motels just a few miles outside of AC that are dramatically cheaper.

Good question - not yet, as far as I know. Sherry organized the last one, and it was at the buffet restaurant in Harrah's. I have no probs if it's there again, which is my guess, but we'll let the Queen sound in on that one...

i'm assuming that unless i get my black card from borgata so that we don't have to battle lines it will be at either reflections or the buffet at harrahs. otherwise it will be the buffet at borgata.

Hope I can get a comp. My friend gets them at Ceasars and and and, oh shoot I can't remember! Anyway, she'll have to come with us but trust me she won't mind!!! She usually gets suites!!! She also the only person I know who ever gets weekend comps! Everyone elses seem to be Sun - Thrus. only! I like having something else to look forward to!!!

I can't imagine how much you have to gamble to get weekend comps but I know it's outta our league. We do get weekday comps from Harrah's/showboat.

We don't often stay over as we're just an hour away. But we might stay over for the BB party rather than have to drive home post dinner.

Steve's boss gets weekend comps as well as free dinner and limo from Holmdel, at Borgata. You're talking big money here!

Kevin,Donna worded it wrong. We didn't just get back from Aruba(I WISH),but we will be just getting back before the A.C. party.We leave Sept.24 & return on Oct.8. Looking forward to A.C. party.
I now have a platinum card & hope to get my room comped at Harrahs.We are leaving for Vegas on July1 & willspend 4 nightsthere.The first 2 nights at New YorkNew York & the last 2 at Harrahs.By time Oct. rolls around I hope to have a diamond card.It's nice to not have to wait in a long line hotel wait or restaurant wait. I hope we have more time to socialise this time.

Unfortunately, (or fortunately) I have my -- year high school reunion that weekend, although probably wouldn't have gone to AC anyway.... I'll be thinking of all of you, and will be waiting for the year when it's some place other than the shore...

I own at the Flagship. They have a good restaurant with an ocean view and a large bar. On the weekends the place rocks as they have a DJ with Karaoke. I supplied a link below to the Ozone Restaurant there. I had my wife's 40th birthday party there and it was perfect which BTW is Oct 21.

Thanks Frank. I actually just booked our room for the Oct BB party, and yes it is at the Flagship - it's referred to as Skyline Tower, but I believe it's actually the Flagship property. Any tips/info I need to know? I got a great rate thru Orbitz, including less than $100 for Sat the 21st...

As an owner I could have gotten rates at $65 or at least that was the rate I got 2 years ago. I have never heard the flagship called Skyline towers. If it is the same place, Parking was tough as on a Saturday the place is full to the max. Also, Walking outside is not something I would do at night.
