HELLO!!!

I'm going to Aruba June 8th-13th, can anyone tell me how the weather is that month? I've been hearing that June is the start of the hurricane season. Will we have to worry about a wash out? Any feedback will be helpful.

No need to worry! June will be great, (although you can't predict anything unforseen by mother nature), Aruba has fantastic weather. It is situated below the hurricane belt as I have often heard it refered too. Just keep in mind that it is very windy, which helps keep you from getting too hot. We go from mid June until the beginning of July. Last year it called for rain all the time. It rained one day for about 15 minutes, then a slight drizzle and that was it. What ever you do don't keep checking on the weather, because it never holds true. Just go and have a good time! And welcome to the Board!

Thank You captmorgnsgrl, I'm just going to take your word for it ( but i'll take a umbrella just in case) I still don't want much rain.

Don't worry about what the weather channels say shelly. They are always wrong!! As Suzie(captmorgnsgrl) said IF it does rain, it will be a welcome relief. Have a great time and give us trip report when you get back.

Hi Shelley, what everyone said is true. Once I went in June and it was particularly windy that month but what's fun is that they usually hold the International Windsurfing Competitions during the month around the Palm Beach area or even a little above it. Beautiful colored sails and interesting to watch. Have a great time and I don't think you'll need that umbrella.
