Re: New Pool & Beach Ruling at the Aruba Beach Club:
No, don't remember that one... but I don't normally read the CDM newsletter. However, a couple years ago, a gentleman who thought his "green" was better than everyone else's, bought chain and a lock and padlocked chairs to a chickie at the ABC pool... he'd do it before he went to sleep at night. It was the same guy who the year before thought he owned that same chickie, and when we took it one morning, he waited until lunch when no one was there, and threw our things in the bushes... my brother, a very non-combative person threatened to pick this guy up and literally throw him and his stuff in the pool. Needless to say, this chickie war went on daily, but we were the victors. Anyway, with this chain and padlock thing going on, a group of us decided to buy bolt cutters since our complaints to management were going unheeded. It was the battle of the bolt cutter against chain and padlock. I say this with all the modesty I can muster, but once again the bolt cutter gang was victorious!! We all decided that the following year we were going to bring chains and padlocks, become the "chain gang," but that never came to pass!! lol

The one other thing I wish they would do, is pick up towels if no one has been near them in two hours..
