You can use this site to see what the previous years MF's were, but I don't think anyone knows for sure what they will be until the bill is sent at the end of this year. Marriott Vacation Club International Maintenance Fee History chart - Timeshare Users Group Free Timeshare Advice Article

You can use this site to look at previous resales prices that people have posted. None are 3BR, but you can determine a range to try to get past ROFR. ROFR

Hi, Thank you. The reason I ask is this, during our first trip to aruba a few weeks ago, we bought a 2 bdr/OF. We are now thinking we should upgrade before our actual "closing" to a 3 bedroom. We were wondering what the cost to buy was ( I Think the sales rep said $35k as opposed to $36,800.) And we were wondering if the maint would be a lot more than than the $1060. they quoted us for the 2 bed for next yr. Just trying to get some info to decide. Thk U

Last year's (2008) MF for a 2BR was $1060, so it'll be higher this year. Probably a little over $1100. Last year's MF for a 3BR was $1413, so it'll probably be up around $1500 this year.

I don't know what the pricing is for a 3BR, but I believe the 3BR units are only OceanView or GardenView and located in the rear of buidling B (where the lobby is), so the prices you mention could be accurate because it is a 2 step (at least) drop in view.

Before it's too late.
Why haven't you purchase resale to save about 40%? :-)

Does anyone know if this is true- if u buy a 3 bedroom/3 bath at Marriott Surf Club, when u go to another Marriott (not your home resort) they do not have 3 bedrooms at all and u still end up with a 2 bedroom anyway?

I can't email you back as your email address keep bouncing back....

But here:
Not exactly....

Please make yourself a gift and go to this address:

Marriott Resort System - Timeshare Users Group Online Community Forums

State that you've just purchased a TS at the Surf Club and see the answers.
I know I purchased myself two weeks at the Ocean Club for 44% less...

Cordially,

Pierre
-Do it now as your period for rescinding is very short

Also I'm aware that a Platinum 2BR OceanFront passed ROFR at $24,000...
