Default Brisas no more...

Last year a small storm pushed enough water through the channel at the Savaneta reef to do major damage to the Brisas del Mar restaurant. Now the restaurant is being demolished to make way for several luxury villas. They're a little out of place in Savaneta, but on the water, people are willing to build as much as they can.

I was under the impression that buildings on the waterfront in Savaneta could only be 1 story tall. These are proposed to be 3 stories. We'll see. It is an election year and anything is possible.

Bon dia.

Thank you for the information. Brisas del Mar has always been one of my favorite restaurants. I never missed a chance to dine there. I will miss the meals, the view, the waitstaff and the memories.
