Spent a week at Breezes Curacao a few years ago. Curacao has a different vibe, for sure. More Euro-feeling, higher crime rate with risky areas and it is not wise to be walking around at night. Shopping is better but beaches are not as nice. Curacao has a great Museum of Slavery and a SeaQuarium. Better diving as well, (I hear.)
Not as tourist-friendy by far. Casinos were more basic than Aruba. Swing Bridge is cool and there are several new hotels. Weather is the same and Papiemento is spoken.
I would return, but haven't. Aruba and the Riviera Maya offer more for us.
