Recommend you rent first before you buy. This way you can look the timeshare over, know where the unit numbers are, and see if its for you.
First year we came was in 1987. A travel agent rented her unit to us.
They were going to built a wing going out to the beach. Our rented unit was the 4th floor. So later that week went down and bought a 4th floor unit in that new wing.
There are many timeshares in Aruba now. Some are member owned. Most are keep in great shape. As I said rent first and your best buy may be direct from a member of a timeshare. Most timeshares have a BB and usually a resale page on the BB. So you can go look and see what the prices are. These prices may be higher than what a member may ask.
