Default Any way to get a few cheap nights at the Renaissance?

We are going to be in Aruba for 3 extra nights beyond our timeshare and I really have my heart set on staying at the Renaissance again. Are there any owners who are renting the first 3 nights of week 16 or have a way to rent individual nights? I thought they offered some promotions, but wasn't sure. Thanks in advance!

Hi. You did not say if your timeshare was at the Renaissance itself or another resort. Renaissance offers their timeshare members a discount rate of extra nights. I am a Renaissance owner so I know a little bit about it.

If your looking for the cheapest room as non-timeshare, you can buy extra nights at the www.marriott.com website. The cheapest rate seems to be $245 (plus taxes) each night. If you have AAA the cheapest room it $221 (plus taxes) each night. (I admit these rates are not cheap.)

Your best bet is to check ads listed from other timeshare members. If your lucky, someone will sell you an entire extra week from Interval which goes about 650-700 last time I checked. Plus there is usually a guest certificate you have to buy. I wish you luck.

I have also heard of good prices being available thru priceline.

Good luck.

Or, of course, you could stay at the Renaissance and film a really cool video, post it on youtube, and then accept a free trip back as a gesture of gratitude.

Think I'm kidding? Check these out:
