Bakeries near Palm Beach

We will be celebrating a birthday while in Aruba and wondered if there is someplace close to get a cake or cupcakes.

If you have a rental car, go to the certified and there is a great bakery there called Hucada.

Otherwise possibly talk to Amici or your hotel.

Re: Bakeries near Palm Beach

Now you have me hungry for cake! LOL! Hucada is my Achilles's heel.

Just to make sure you have directions.

If you go to where the ACE/Certified is -
If you walk into the market you can walk into the bakery
right before you go thru the turnstile to get your basket.

Otherwise is along the front of the Certified facing the main
road... You can park in front of it.

We haven't usually been shopping at Certified, so we missed Huchada.
Besides sweets, do they do good grain breads?
We like the products we get at Ling's and other markets, but will put Huchada on the list?

Last year, our friends went looking for a bakery that is supposed to be near the Noord traffic light (north? other way from Santa Anna Church). They came back empty-handed. Does this ring a bell to anyone?

There is an Italian bakery heading from the noord light towards
TDS.

I've heard others say good things about it.

that one is call "la delizia", turn at traffic lights by santa ana, direction tierra del sol, pass crown electronics, next to KUKoo Kunuku buses (if there is any parked there...ha), on the right hand side of the road...
bruno, the owner, is the best.. visit him and order....
anyway it is a small house with a sign on it

mmmm, Bruno has the best apple turnovers (both his tiny ones and big ones) and his cheesecake and custard filled creme puffs are soooo good too. Bruno is such a great guy..we just love him!!! (but for a birthday cake the one and only place for us is Huchada)!!

On this map: http://www.aruba.ginnies.nl/image/map-aruba.jpg

On the left you see the hospital, to the right you see a roundabout with a sign 1B, take the exit that goes to Tanki Flip, folow 4A to
Santa Cruz. Before Santa Cruz you see the words "indian excarvations", where the "s" of the word is on the map you will find Huchada. :wink_smil
You have to try the Cheese cake. :tounge_sm

La Delizia has delicious bakery products. I will definitely put Hucada on my list for February.
