I just received an alert on AA.com. It shows airfare from DFW to AUA from Sept to Dec for $303 plus tax and fees. Looks like total for 2 tickets is $848. I know this wont help a lot of you east coasters but maybe some boarders here in the sw. I can drive to DFW in 4 hours.
Maybe the sale is on from your airport as well.

East coast fares for AA from Boston and Hartford to AUA have also come down. I was able to get 2 tix for around $734 (including tax)!

I Booked My Airfare 9 Months In Advance Through Aa And Paid
$1125.00 For 3 Tickets Non Stop Round Trip Jfk To Aua. That Comes To $375.00 Each. Look Early And Often!

Fares have been under 400 from Newark for a little while now with AA. Hope they stay that way! 352 was the last price I saw yesterday! Newark has always been much higher, that's why we used to fly USAir out of Philly...now Philly is way over 600!!!!!!!!!!

I just booked Boston - Aruba, March 30 for $368 before taxes. It came out to $929 for 2 tickets.

Today I got an interesting eAlert from American. Apparently they are partnering with one of the timeshare properties on Aruba. They are doing very low fares and 5 nights at the timeshare for about $500. Not bad out of the Austin or DFW area.

yes, i got that too...$649/person for air and 4 nights and if booked now an extra night if you listen to the timeshare rant. this was the price from baltimore.

Makes you wonder which timeshare you have to tour. I didn't look that closely!!

It is the Surf Club tour. I called and asked about it. You get 4 nights + 1 extra night if booked to arrive before Dec 15, 2007. Your stay is in any of the 3 resorts depending on availability but they want to put you in the Surf Club if possible. The cost is $649 and a 1 1/2 hour tour of the surf club.

I received an invite from the Westin, yesterday for 5 night, and $100 resort certificate for $649. I have to book within 15 days for anytime in the next 12 months. No tours to take.

That Marriott one sound good too, the tour is no pressure sales at all.

I just purchased two round trip tickets to Aruba on AA from Boston for #398 PP including taxes. This is the cheapest I've ever paid and this is our 4th trip.

What are the dates of travel? That is a great price.

I saw some great fares from Dulles, but they did not include my return dates. The weekend I am coming home (11/17) was blocked out.

oh well, maybe next year.

May is definitely obviously cheaper than March/April
